Description richburridge 2007-07-31 21:04:00 UTC
See also Orca bug #462256 which is blocked by this issue.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462256

There doesn't seem to be a "Found in version:" entry for OOo-dev 2.3.0
where this bug was found (on a Gnu Linux Ubuntu Gutsy system with all the
latest GNOME 2.19.X updates and latest Orca).

Steps to reproduce:

1/ Start up Orca
2/ Start up OOo-dev 2.3.0 Presentation application (simpress)
3/ Make sure that the "Empty Presentation" radio button is selected
(the default) and focus is on the "Next" button and press Space.

The wizard will now display the second screen (asking you to
select a slide design), but Orca didn't speak/braille anything.

This is because no useful events (like "focus:" or
"object:state-changed:focused") are sent.
